How to use the Yes or No wheel

  1. Open the wheel

The page loads with two slices, Yes and No, a large result line, and a spin button you can tap once.

  2. Choose the mode and the odds

Stay on Yes / No or switch to Yes / No / Maybe. Change a weight, such as Yes 70, and the slice sizes follow.

  3. Spin and read the result

One tap starts the spin. The result was chosen before the animation. The last ten spins stay after a refresh until you clear them.

Yes/No/Maybe mode and weights

Yes / No starts even. Yes / No / Maybe adds a third slice. Each weight is that slice’s share of the next spin.

  • A Yes weight of 70 and a No weight of 30 gives Yes about 70% of spins.
  • The animation reveals the slice that was already chosen. It does not change the odds.
  • Earlier results do not make the next spin more or less likely.

Use cases: classroom questions, decisions, and games

Classroom questions

Let a class spin for a yes-or-no check, a volunteer prompt, or a maybe when the question can stay light.

Everyday decisions

Break a harmless tie. Set Yes to 70% when one answer should come up more often but both are still acceptable.

Games

Use the wheel as a game beat: two slices for a coin-flip moment, or three when Maybe changes the round.

FAQ

Frequently asked questions

Is the Yes or No wheel random?

Yes. Each spin draws from the current weights with the browser’s random numbers. Past spins do not change the next one.

Can I add Maybe?

Yes. Switch to Yes / No / Maybe and the wheel adds a third slice.

Can I change the odds?

Yes. Set a weight such as Yes 70 and No 30. The percent beside each weight is that slice’s share.

Do the last spins stay after a refresh?

The last ten results stay in this browser until you clear them. The wheel itself loads as Yes and No again.

Is the sound on by default?

No. Sound stays off, and no sound is loaded, until you turn the sound effect on.
