Privacy at Random 42
This notice explains what information is handled when you visit Random 42 or use one of its tools.

Random 42 does not require an account and does not save the names, lists, settings, or results you enter into a tool. Limited technical information may still be processed to deliver, protect, and measure the website.
Information entered into a tool
Tool information can include names, choices, uploaded list contents, weights, rules, group settings, and generated results. This information is processed in your browser to produce the result you request. It is not sent to or stored by Random 42.
Refreshing or closing the tool clears the information from the open tool. If you copy, print, download, or otherwise save a result, that copy is managed by your device and any service where you choose to store or share it.
No accounts or saved history
Random 42 does not offer user accounts, cloud workspaces, or saved result history. Previous tool sessions cannot be recovered through Random 42.
Website delivery and security
Random 42 is delivered throughCloudflare. Cloudflare may process technical request information such as your IP address, request time, requested URL, browser and device details, referrer information, and security signals. This information may be used to deliver the website, protect it from abuse, and maintain reliable service.

Analytics
Random 42 usesGoogle Analytics 4 to measure website use. It may receive information about the pages you visit, your approximate location, and your browser and device. A tool visit is measured from its main page; names, lists, settings, and generated results are not sent as custom analytics events.
The Cookie settings link in the footer opens the cookie notice. Use your browser settings or privacy tools to inspect, block, or clear analytics cookies and other site data.
Random 42 does not currently load advertising services or advertising cookies. If that changes, this notice and the available privacy controls will be updated as required.

Children and sensitive information
Random 42 is not a student record system or a service for storing personal records. When using a tool in a classroom, workplace, event, or other group setting, enter only the information needed for the task. Initials, first names, or neutral labels may be appropriate when full names are not necessary.
Do not enter health information, safeguarding details, private performance notes, financial information, contact details, government identifiers, or other sensitive personal information. Review every generated result before displaying, sharing, or acting on it.
Your choices
- Use the least identifying information needed for the task.
- Refresh or close the tool to clear its entries and results.
- Remove copied or downloaded results when they are no longer needed.
- Use Cookie settings in the footer to read about analytics cookies and browser controls.
- Use your browser settings to review or clear cookies and site data.

This notice may be updated when Random 42 changes how information is handled. Any updated notice will be published on this page.
